WELCOME TO SASANE MARIE'S
"A Taste of Home"
OUR STORY
Roxane better known as Sasane to her family grew up in the Los Angeles area. Sasane is the first generation Haitian-American, born in United States, as her family originated from Haiti.
She grew up with four very influential women in her life. All of whom could cook and bake. These women paved the path for Sasane's love of baking. Her mother Rosemarie, aunt Gladys, and beloved aunts Monique and Gilberte.
As a young teen Sasane started baking box recipes on a weekly basis, but she would never follow the instructions. As time went on, Sasane started to make her own recipes but with the help of her wonderful village of women. Today Sasane shares her passion and love by baking just like her beloved aunts who had a bakery in Miami, Florida (Gilberte) and catering events in Los Angeles, California (Monique). As well, her aunt Gladys still caters an event or two to this very day.
Their influences continue to shine through. Sasane’s baking style is made with love, as if your mother, grandmother or aunt would bake for you.
Welcome to Sasane Marie’s
